9.2. Managing Sites and Branches

The Sites and Branches screen is where many branch management tasks are performed. This section provides a summary of this screen's features. Hover your mouse over each of the numbered callouts to highlight the associated area of the screen.

(1)	Filter by Text Search: Enter text to filter the list of sites and branches to entries whose names or owners match the text.
(2)	Filter by Site: Click on one or more checkboxes to filter the list of branches to those belonging the selected sites. When no checkboxes are checked, all branches in all sites are included.
(3)	Filter by Owner: Click on one or more checkboxes to filter the list of sites and branches to those belonging to the selected owner. When no checkboxes are checked, all branches and sites for any owner are included.
(4)	Actions Drop-down Menu: Click on one of the drop-down menus in the Actions column to see and use actions available for each entry, including Edit, Delete, and Add Branch.
(5)	Lazy-load Scrollbar: When there are many more sites and branches than fits on-screen, only enough entries are retrieved to fill the display. When you use the scrollbar, additional entries are fetched. This means that scrolling might appear to be slightly slower than you might expect, but it allows filtering, sorting and initial display to be much faster when you have hundreds or thousands of sites or branches.
(6)	Buttons: The buttons at the bottom right provide the ability to add a new site, or add a new branch.

	Determining the Active Branch
	The name of active branch appears at the left end of the management toolbar, and within the datagrid the active branch is denoted with "(active)". In the screenshot above, this is "Live".
