8.4. Adding Comments

To add a comment as an authenticated user:

  1. Navigate to the content entry you wish to comment on, and scroll down to the Comments form near the bottom of the page.
  2. Enter your comment in the provided text box.
  3. Click Post Comment. The page refreshes. If show comments has been enabled and your comment does not require approval, your comment is included in the list of comments.

To add a comment as an un-authenticated user:

  1. Navigate to the content entry you wish to comment on, and scroll down to the Comments form near the bottom of the page.
  2. Enter your name, email address, comment, and CAPTCHA verification.
  3. Click Post Comment. The page refreshes. If show comments has been enabled and your comment does not require approval, your comment is included in the list of comments.
[Note] The Comment Module Must Be Enabled

The Comments module must be enabled to use the commenting features. Please refer to Section 19.3, “Enabling and Disabling Modules”.
