8.2. Managing Comments

Hover your mouse over each of the numbered callouts to highlight the associated area of the screen.

(1)	Filter by Text Search: Enter text to filter the list of comments to entries containing the text.
(2)	Filter by Status: Click on a radio button to filter the list of comments to items of the selected status. By default, comments of any status are shown.
(3)	Sort Comments: Click on one of the columns to sort the comments by that column's details, click again to change the sort direction (an indicator arrow appears). The Actions columns is not sortable.
(4)	Actions Drop-down Menu: Click on one of the drop-down menus in the Actions column to see and use actions available for each comment, including Reject, Pend, Delete, and View Content Entry.
(5)	Lazy-load Scrollbar: When there are many more comments than can fit on-screen, only enough comments are retrieved to fill the display. When you use the scrollbar, additional comments are fetched. This means that scrolling might appear to be slightly slower than you might expect, but it allows filtering, sorting and initial display to be much faster when you have hundreds or thousands of comments.

	The Comment Module Must Be Enabled
	The Comments module must be enabled to use the commenting features. Please refer to Section 19.3, “Enabling and Disabling Modules”.
