9.5. Deleting a Branch

[Note] Manage Branches Permission Required

You can delete a branch only if you have the "Manage Sites and Branches" permission.

To delete a branch:

  1. Click the "active branch" indicator in the Perforce Chronicle toolbar.
    The branch popup menu appears:
  2. Click Manage Branches. The Sites and Branches screen appears.
  3. Scroll through the available branches to locate the branch you wish to delete.
  4. Click the button in the Actions column in the row containing the branch you wish to delete.
  5. Select the Delete option in the popup menu.
    A Delete Branch confirmation dialog is displayed.
  6. Click Delete Branch. The Sites and Branches screen is redisplayed, no longer listing your deleted branch.
